Dayna and Fieldy visit!

A couple of weeks ago, my great friends Dayna and Fieldy passed through Singapore on their way to a wedding in India! It was a flying visit - they arrived at 5pm on Monday afternoon and departed at 5am on Wednesday so we had a 36 hour window to show them some of the sights of Singapore.

On Monday night, we did a walking tour of Chinatown, Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, the Merlion, Esplanade, Raffles Hotel and Bugis Street... with the mandatory stops at Mr Wongs for noodles and Tom's Palate for ice-cream of course!
On Tuesday, while I was working (*groan*), they had fun exploring Little India (to get their traditional wedding outfits!) and Orchard Road. After work, we all headed out to our favourite spot in Geylang, No Signboard, for a seafood feast!
It was a short visit, but we had heaps of fun hanging out and sharing our little piece of the world with them.
I'm honing my tour with each visitor, so no excuses... next time you have a short layover, let me know, leave the airport and experience Singapore!
