Perth and Fremantle

So, when we left Adelaide, we flew to Perth - we decided to cut our travel time to Singapore in half, and also wanted to go there since it's the Australian destination most travelled to by our friends here in Singapore!

We only spent 2 days in Perth, and forgot to take photos most of the time, as the stopover was really designed for unplanned days of relaxing, sleeping in, in-room movies and food.

We had dinner down by the Barrack Street Jetty. We LOVED King Street in the city... it had cute architecture and great breakfast cafes. We filled up on more pies, Red Rooster and hot chips, as we knew that we'd miss these Aussie staples on our return to Singapore!

The only day we took photos, and our most 'active' day in Perth, we went down to Fremantle, to check out the Little Creatures Brewery. It was a perfect day (although a little on the warm side at 41C), and is definitely worth a look for anyone travelling to Perth!
We grabbed lunch at Kailis' Bros. The seafood platter was so good! We knew we should take another opportunity to order chilled fresh seafood, as we miss cold prawns and crabs in Singapore (though I'm sure we'd miss the chilli, pepper and butter crab if we were away from Singapore for too long!)So now we're back in Singapore. It took a little time to adjust back to it, but a visit from friends and some fantastic food has certainly helped us appreciate how much we love this city!

Singapore is pretty much all about what we're about - great food, energy, friends and fun!
